VIEW OF ULAANBAATAR

                                                                 BUDDHA PARK
At the Buddha Park , you can see an 18m tall gilded standing Sakyamuni image located next to the Zaisan memorial hill. The funds to build the park were donated by a 99 year old Mongolian monk named Guru Dev. Below the statue there is a small museum containing gilded Buddhist gods, thangkas / religious silk paintings / , sutras / written discourses of Buddha / and images of Buddha and his disciples.
5 tons of junipers were placed into the Buddha statue. You can even smell the fragrance in the area surrounding the park, originating from the Buddha statue. If you have a wish , you could be interested in whispering your wish and ringing a big bronze bell three times. It is said that this can fulfill your wish.
You are also invited to try the coffee lounge and the fast food offered in the park.
